EILEEN'S CAST

Eileen's broken leg has a cast
which means she can't go very fast.
She must walk and stand
with a crutch in each hand
and settle for coming in last.

Eileen's cast has left her toes bare.
There is nothing at all they can wear.
And so they get dirty
And aren't very purty.
So little old ladies all stare.

Eileen has to walk with her crutches
To breakfast and dinners and lunches.
Her family wishes
she could wash the dishes
but the girl just sits there and munches.
